Preparing a future bongo migration...

Hello,

Some of you might already know that I'm still running a old Hula mail
server. Unfortunatly, it becomes really critical to change it as soon as
possible because it crashes all the time and seems to loose mails. I really
want to change to bongo but I believe it's too soon because I need to be
able to upgrade seamlessly (without loosing existing mailboxes) and I
believe it's not the case with current Bongo. I also do not want to compile
it but install a straight deb package.

So, I think that the only solution right now is to install a "classic"
server in order to wait for a better Bongo.

My question then is : what would you recommand in order to have the easiest
migration to Bongo when time will come ? I was used to Cyrus (with postfix
and Squirrelmail) but there are also courrier, uw-imap for the server,
roundcube for the webmail, ...

I would be glad to hear your advice.

I hope that everything is fine for you all (Andrew, how is the sport going
?)

Hi Lionel,

I had to move from netmail to postfix on debian

I use virtualmin to manage the domains.

I will use imapsync to move mail when bongo is ready to run live
